Synthesis of Evidence Based II

Catalog description

Develops the methodology for an evidence-based DNP Synthesis Project with a systems-level impact for the improvement of nursing practice or patient outcomes within a specialized area of advanced practice. Explores the impact of ethical, safe and effective patient and organizational outcomes in the translation of evidence into practice. Culminates in the defense of the DNP Synthesis Project proposal, compliance with the regulations involving human subjects and approval from Troy University's Institutional Review Board. Requires completion of a minimum of 120 clinical hours for the development of DNP role competencies.
