Catalog description

Designed for students in the Accelerated MSN program, this course encompasses various foundational topics for nursing practice, including mathematical principles, conversions and computations for calculation of dosages for safe and effective medication administration, and incorporates the assessment phase of the nursing process. Presents students with the principles, standards, and values implicit in the profession of nursing. Also, students are introduced to the theories used in the definition of concepts of humanity, environment, health, and nursing.
