Catalog description

Explores health alterations in children in response to internal and external environmental dimensions. Examines seleted theories of child health for interelationships among developmental, physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual components. Emphasizes evidence-based clinical decisions, communication and collaboration in a caring environment. Presents the role of the nurse in the promotion of optimal health for children of all ages.
