Catalog description
Provides clinical learning opportunities for students to develope basic nursing knowledge and skills for the care of individuals of all ages who require assistance in meeting basic health needs and adapting to common health alterations. Uses key elements in professional nursing practice in the application of the nursing process as a systematic approach to clinical prevention, healh promotion and maintenance, and illness and restorative care. Requires validation of competencies related to safe performance of basic nursing skills.
