This practicum course supports the transition from LPN to RN by deepening clinical competencies in psychosocial nursing care. Emphasis is placed on mental health principles, therapeutic communication, and the development of effective nurse-patient relationships. Through experiential learning and reflective practice, students will enhance their ability to assess, document, and respond to the psychosocial needs of individuals and families across the lifespan. Integration of cultural sensitivity, ethical considerations, and interdisciplinary collaboration will be central to clinical application.
