Introduces psychomotor skills needed to assit individuals in meeting basic human needs. Skills necessary for maintaining microbial, physical, and psychological safety are introduced along with skills needed in therapeutic interventions. Focuses on the role of the professional nurse in applying basic nursing skills to diverse patient populations with common health alterations.
