This course covers the historical development of the American legal system, ethical responsibilities of legal professionals, and procedural and substantive issues of criminal and civil law. This course will satisfy the prerequisite of CJ 1101 for CJ 4442 for Legal Studies minors and Non-Criminal Justice Majors.
