This course discusses the theory and practice of evidence protection and collection including biological and medical evidence and controls to be collected, aspects of scenes to be photographed, legal and scientific requirements of packaging and storage, chain of custody requirements, forensic report writing, rules of evidence and legal consideration of expert witness testimony.
