This course integrates mathematical reasoning, mindset development, and algebraic thinking through active engagement in problem-solving, analysis of children's mathematical thinking, and connection to research-based teaching practices, including a discovery and overview of the Standards for Mathematical Practice, Mathematics Teaching Practices, and Alabama Course of Study Mathematics Standards.
