Catalog description

This course explores the fundamental electronic properties of materials with a focus on semiconductors and commonly used materials in engineering applications. Topics include electrical conductivity, band theory, charge carrier transport, and the impact of material structure on electronic behavior. Emphasis will be placed on semiconductor physics, doping mechanisms, and applications in electronic and optoelectronic devices.
