Catalog description
This course provides hands-on experience to strengthen and supplement the basic concepts of microbiology taught in the lecture such as the fundamentals of aseptic technique, microscopy, staining procedures, isolation techniques, chemical control of microorganisms, specimen collection, and interpretation of various biochemical tests. Note: Credit will not count toward a major or minor in the biological sciences.
