Non-Majors Microbiology

Catalog description

To introduce students to basic concepts of microbiology including anatomy and growth of bacteria, micobial metabolism, diseases caused by them, and interrealtionships of micro-organisms with the environment/host. The emphasis of the course will be on medical microbiology, disease control and public health.
