Catalog description

This course prepares students to think about procedures from a surgeon’s perspective. It is constructed in such a way as to teach basic surgical anatomy, instrumentation and procedural steps. The course introduces students to general surgical techniques involved during orthopedic, cardiothoracic, peripheral vascular, and neurosurgeries. Prerequisites: SUR 124 , SUR 134 and BIO 224
