Clinical Experience II

Catalog description

This course offers students hands-on learning opportunities in the clinical setting. It is conducted in surgical facilities and provides students with a clinical experience with a variety of pre-, intra-, and post-operative assignments. Students will have opportunities to observe and assist in associated departments (L&D, endoscopy, and SPD). In the operating room, the course will consist of the student in the observation role with a transition to the second scrub and first scrub roles. Prerequisites: SUR 104 , SUR 114 and BIO 204
