Catalog description

This course examines ethical and legal challenges that arise in managing and delivering medical care. Students will explore issues such as patient rights, confidentiality, reproduction and end-of-life decisions, and the responsibilities of health care leaders. Emphasis is placed on comparing ethical standards across profit, not-for-profit, community, and faith-based organizations.
