Catalog description
This is the first in a series of four lecture and lab courses in which students learn to perform a health history, physical examination, and diagnostic and therapeutic procedures on patients across the lifespan. In this course, the emphasis will be on the art of communication in medicine, the medical interview, and the proper documentation of medical encounters. Prerequisite: Matriculation into the PA Program.
