Catalog description

The goal of the Doctoral Capstone Experience (DCE) is to develop occupational therapists with advanced knowledge and skill beyond the generalist level in a focused area of practice. Students will participate in an in-depth experience in one primary area of focus which includes Clinical Skills, Program Development and Evaluation, or Leadership. The DCE culminates in an individualized project that connects practice with scholarship by implementing and evaluating the doctoral capstone project presented in OTD 7841 . The student must document a minimum of 14 weeks, 32 hours per week of participation in the doctoral capstone experience. Prerequisites: OTD 7740 ; Corequisites: OTD 7841
