Catalog description
This course will require students to build on the skills gained throughout the curriculum. The project plan will be approved by the Doctoral Capstone Coordinator, a designated faculty member, as well as a key stakeholder for the project. The Capstone Project will include a literature review, a needs assessment, learning objectives/goals, and an evaluation plan. Students should be able to articulate how their project impacts OT practice and how it relates to licensure and state requirements. Students will be able to identify an applicable grant application that could benefit the outcome of their experience. The capstone project must reflect at least one of the following primary areas of focus which include Clinical Skills, Program Development and Evaluation, or Leadership. Prerequisites: Successful completion of the previous semester, OTD 5133 and OTD 6433 . Corequisite: OTD 6532 .
