Catalog description

This lab course will provide the nursing student a supportive and supervised environment to practice skills sets that specifically address the managed care of the pediatric client. The course will also provide simulated experiences to allow for the nursing student to practice assessments, communication, teaching/learning and managing care of the pediatric client from infancy to adolescence. Prerequisites: BIO 224 and NRS 113 and NRS 132 and NRS 133 ; Corequisites: NRS 222 and NRS 231
