Catalog description

Throughout this course, students will conduct an in-depth analysis of mental illness and its association with criminal behavior. Students will identify patterns of psychopathy and sociopathy. Various disorders will be examined. Students will apply knowledge learned to determine the causation of crime. Students in this course will also examine the DSM-V in relation to criminal behavior.
