Sport Science and Technology

Catalog description

This course explores the use of technology and data analysis in sport science and human performance settings. Students will examine key measurement tools and technologies to assess performance, monitor recovery, and support decision-making as a part of an interdisciplinary team. Emphasis is placed on understanding concepts of validity, reliability, and objectivity in testing, as well as interpreting data to inform practice. Same as AHS 4033. Prerequisite: Junior standing or permission of instructor.
