Catalog description

This course continues with the basics of Montessori program, curriculum and environmental design for the lower elementary (6-9) classroom and the requirements of the teacher/guide for leading effective learning and engagement among students, scheduling, planning, record keeping, assessment, community building and family involvement, conflict resolution, cultural awareness and inclusion, and peaceful interactions. Prerequisite: EDU 1100/EDU 1103, EDU 1110/EDU 1113, and EDU 4100/EDU 4101or permission of the program director
