Catalog description

Students will learn approaches to evaluation of hearing through knowledge of hearing anatomy and physiology. Topics include: ear pathology, pure tone audiometry, speech audiometry and acoustic-emittance audiology. Students will also learn the impact hearing impairments have on speech and language development and aural rehabilitation.
