Focuses on administrative skills performed by the Medical Assistant in the ambulatory care setting. The course provides an introduction to the medical assistant profession, examines medical law and ethics, principles of confidentiality and medical office function. Introduces the medical assisting students to learn practical applications of billing medical insurance both manually and electronically. The course is designed to instruct the student in all phases of the administrative medical assistant. Note: $75.00 Course Fee
