Introduction of expressive communication through drawing portraits, caricatures, hands, and figures. Students learn basic anatomy and proportions to increase drawing construction and expression. Focus is on exploring line, shadows, shadow shapes, light and halftones through the application of charcoal, chalk, ink, and other drawing media.
