Teaches proper techniques for checking beef cows for pregnancy. Discusses anatomy and physiology of cows, the estrus cycle, and a review of diseases associated with reproduction. Much of the class taught in the "field" under actual ranch conditions. Lab required 44 hrs, TBA with instructor. Note: This is a short course that runs only for the week of November 9 -13, from 8:00 am - 4:50 pm each day. Students should make arrangements with other instructors if this will cause time conflicts on the student's schedule.
