The course provides an introduction to the science and practice of clinical and couns eling psychology from integrated perspectives. History, major theories, and scientific underpinnings are covered, as well as current developments in practice and research. Major topics include research design, theoretical models, diagnostic and assessment methods, psychotherapeutic interventions, treatment effectiveness, specialization, and training.
