Catalog description

This course introduces the basic principles used to study the distribution and determining fact ors of disease, injuries, and death in individuals and populations. Students learn about how Epidemiology is the branch of medicine that deals with the incidence, distribution, and possible control of diseases and other factors relating to health. Students explore Epidemiology as a tool for public health to promote and protect the public's health based on science.
