Catalog description

This course explores contemporary information techn ology systems, policies, and management issues in the organization’s information technology function. Students will examine the relationship between organizational structure, processes, and emerging technologies in business intelligence (BI) that uses tool s such as online analytical processing (OLAP), data mining, business performance management (BPM), predictive and data analytics, big data, and informatics. The course is designed to highlight an organization’s competitive advantage through information sys tem development methodologies and the impact of information technologies on the organization’s funding and human resources.
