Advanced Systemic Therapy

Catalog description

The study of those systemic therapies informed by cybernetics and oriented to the social organiza tion of communication are included in this course. Topics include the work of the Mental Research Institute, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Narrative therapy, and Collaborative therapy to provide an in -depth understanding of family therapy systems and practice. Special emphasis will include the work of the founders of Family Therapy.
