Catalog description

The course introduces the basic principles used to study the distribution and d etermining factors of disease, injuries, and death in individuals and populations. Nature, transmission and control/prevention of infectious diseases are presented from a public health perspective. Characteristics, risk and prevention of non-infectious diseases are also discussed. Implications for health education are included.
