This course provides the learner with an overview of the U.S. healthcare system. The course will focus on the challenges facing the health care system, including the Affordable Care Act (ACA) and its impact on health care access, delivery, cost, quality and health care professionals. The course will consider t he sociopolitical forces that continue to shape policy in healthcare.
