This three-hour seminar-based course involves the exploration of health and wellness theories, principles, approaches, initiatives, and policies that support occupation-based health promotion. Upon completion of this course, students will be able to discuss current health challenges and identify expanded roles for occupational therapy practitioners to address society’s occupational needs.
