Catalog description

This three-hour seminar-based course involves the exploration of health and wellness theories, principles, approaches, initiatives, and policies that support occupation-based health promotion. Upon completion of this course, students will be able to discuss current health challenges and identify expanded roles for occupational therapy practitioners to address society’s occupational needs. Prerequisite: First, Second, Third, Fourth, Fifth, Sixth, and Seventh-semester coursework; Co-requisites: Eighth-semester coursework
