Catalog description

This four-credit course introduces the student to child-based occupational therapy practice focusing on occupational behaviors including exploration and application of developmental and other theories and frames of reference toward conditions typically seen in children and adolescents. The student will investigate a wide scope of childhood related conditions and research as it relates to child-based practice settings. Students will participate in didactic course work, group discussion, and research as it relates to child-based practice. In concert with this course, the student will complete OCTV 526A. Prerequisite: OCTV First semester courses; Co- requisite: Second-semester courses.
