Catalog description

This practicum focuses on Family Nurse Practitioner students applying theoretical and clinical concepts related to health assessment, differential diagnosis, health promotion, and disease prevention, in the primary care environment. The content is presented within a holistic, culturally competent and evidenced based framework. Course requires 180 hours of directly supervised clinical hours and 15 hours of seminar. Pre-requisite: MSNV 605, 619, 620 or credit awarded from previous coursework.
