Internship in School Counseling

Catalog description

Students are provided a comprehensive and supervised field experience for observing and practicing various school counseling responsibilities under the supervision of a practicing school/district counselor and a Touro faculty member. Internship is an immersion experience whereby students perform the duties associated with the role of the professional school counselor within the context of the school system. Focus will be on extending knowledge from previous courses into practice in the professional setting. Pre-requisite ESCV 668B.
