This course will focus on the role and functions of a professional school counselor in planning, designing, and implementing a comprehensive school counseling program. It will examine current trends in school counseling, and explore the use of data points, student standards, and program goals to systematically address the needs of students in a variety of school settings. A 15-hour practicum is required for this course
