Group Counseling in a School Setting

Catalog description

This course is a study of group structure as it relates to implementing small groups, large groups, and classroom lessons within a comprehensive school counseling program. It will examine group process, methodology, evaluation, and leadership models applicable to working with groups in a school setting and will include skill building and ethical decision making through supervised practice. A 15-hour practicum is required for this course.
