Catalog description

Students in this course will examine the policy issues shaping the direction of contemporary institutions. Educational policy and planning are essential to the success of institutions and future leaders need to be prepared to infuse necessary changes into the institution when necessary and know where to access key research sources to make decisions. Students will explore the function of institutional governance, analyze policy, and discuss the importance of strategic planning.
