Child and Family Counseling

Catalog description

This course examines methods for including parents, families and communities in schools. It stresses a systems perception that incorporates consultation and partnership in addressing academic, career and personal/social achievement for students. Family dyn amics and influence on school success will also be addressed. A five hour practicum is required for this course.
