School counselors are ethically obligated to maintain the highest respect for student s and exercise care in supporting their academic success . As leaders and advocates school counselors collaborate with stakeholders to create a school and community climate that helps promote students’ academic, career and social emotional success. A ten-hour practicum is required for this course.
