Catalog description

Today’s teachers need to be grounded in the tools, standards, methods and perspectives that will enable them to use technology effectively, creatively and wisely with their students. Above all, they need to be able to engage today’s digital students in the use of technology in ways that are academically sound, and that bridge the worlds of school, work and home. This course addresses these goals by introducing students to the world of teaching and learning in the digital age in broad terms. It also provides examples of activities that teachers can use in their classrooms.
