Catalog description

This course is designed to provide a broad overview of the field of gifted education, special education, and the English language learner. A brief history of the field, different conceptions of giftedness, various identification methods, characteristics and needs of a wide range of multiple learners will be included. Participants will be shown programming options, and curriculum and instruction methods for dealing with all types of students learning abilities.
