Anger and violence in the media, community, and classrooms create an environment that inhibits learning. This course will cover topics related to understanding the relationship between anger, the brain, violence prevention, and effective discipline in schools. Participants will come away with a better understanding of how to respond appropriately to students’ behavior and strategies for effective discipline.
