Neurological Conditions and Management I with lab

Catalog description

Prepares students to recognize the typical impairments, limitations, and restrictions associated with the neurological conditions affecting the peripheral nervous system. Students will organize and administer a general examination augmented by using impairment- and limitation-specific outcomes and evaluate their examination results to develop an effective plan of care. Students will learn to identify appropriate responses to the complications and emergencies that may arise in this population and perform a differential diagnosis to identify the need for referral to other health care professionals.
