Catalog description

This clinical decision-making course covers communication, documentation, and patient interviews based on the Guide to Physical Therapy Practice. The curriculum includes coding in the ICF and ICD, and the functional outcome reporting (FOR) method of documentation, which supports communication with other healthcare team members. Students will participate in case studies, group discussions, and simulations to gain practical experience applying these concepts and skills to real-world clinical scenarios.
