This course serves as an introduction to immunology and microbiology. Among the topics, the course includes lectures on activation of immunity, antigen recognition, immunogenetics, cytokines, inflammation and infection, and histology of organs related to t he immune system. Clinical application sessions accentuate the function of the immune system.
