This self -paced, online course is an introduction to, and survey of the basic foundations, etiquette, and appropriate scenarios students need to be aware of when utilizing Telemedicine/Telehealth. By using topic modules, and short, interactive quizzes, the student will be introduced to the basics of telemedicine, the degree and extent it is being used, as well as a review of legal implications in every state. It allows the student to utilize provided links and sources to further enhance their education in this valuable, health care tool. This is a required course that must be completed prior to the beginning of the second year. It is designed for completion in one or multiple sessions based on the student's availability.
