DNP Project III

Catalog description

This project course allows the student to systematically identify and examine issues and trends related to leadership in nursing and other related disciplines in order to promote human flourishing, enhance nursing practice, and enable nursing judgment. The student will explore the role of a scholar-practitioner in translation of research into practice through design, implementation, and dissemination of research findings. Students are encouraged to pull from content in the didactic courses to develop and bolster their DNP Project. Implementation and evaluation will be completed in this course. Additionally, the significance of the DNP Project to the nursing profession and healthcare as a whole will be explored. Course requires 144 practice hours. Pre -requisite: DNPV 761, DNPV 763.
