Catalog description

This course establishes the framework for the practicum experience tailored for advanced practice psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner students, focusing on the application of psychotherapeutic modalities across the lifespan. Students will participate in clinical experiences under the guidance of qualified preceptors, assuming a role in the delivery of therapeutic approaches. Through 150 clinical hours of direct involvement, students will enhance and refine their skills in psychotherapeutic approaches within a clinical setting.
